Update an installed copy or replace a portable copy.
Installed copies
Versions 1.1.0 and later check for updates about once a day when automatic checks are enabled. Use Settings > Check for updates to check manually. If an update is available, the installed app offers Update Now.
From 1.0.1 or earlier, download and run the current installer once. The installer upgrades in place and keeps your settings and macros.
Portable copies
A portable copy tells you when a newer version exists but does not install it for you. Download the current portable zip from Download, verify it, and extract it to a folder. Keep your saved recordings.
If an update fails
Check your internet connection and try the manual check again. If needed, use the verified installer on the Download page. Search any LM code in Error codes. Include the code and your version in a support report if the problem continues.
