Troubleshoot a problem
Look up an error, run diagnostics, and prepare a support report.
Start with the error code
If you see a code such as LM-1007, search Error codes. Each page explains what the code means and lists specific steps. Avoid renaming or changing a recording to bypass a file error.
Run diagnostics
- Stop any recording or playback.
- Open Settings > Troubleshoot….
- Choose Run Diagnostics. Select a macro file if you want it checked too.
- Read any Warning, Failed or Not checked results.
Diagnostics checks settings, storage, shortcuts, supported permissions, macro files and the update connection. It cannot tell whether a game accepts simulated input, detect administrator windows, or diagnose exclusive full-screen behavior.
Repair settings
If the tool offers a settings repair, review and confirm it. It backs up the settings first and offers an undo. It does not repair or delete macro recordings. Restart LuvMacro after undoing a repair.
Ask for help
Choose Copy Support Report and review the preview before copying it. In the official Discord server, open a support ticket and paste the report. Include what you did, what you expected, what happened, your version, and the error code.
Reports exclude recorded keys, mouse positions, macro contents, filenames and locations, window titles, clipboard contents, settings values and passwords. Nothing is sent automatically. The error dialog also offers Copy Error Report for a report with that error included.
