Download the installer
Click Download LuvMacro. You get a file that ends in Windows-Setup.exe. Prefer not to install anything? The portable zip runs from any folder.
Run it
Open the file. It installs just for you and doesn’t ask for an administrator password. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, read the note below first.
Record something
Open LuvMacro from the Start menu and press Record (F6). After a 3-second countdown, switch to the window you want to record and do your actions. Press Stop (F8) when you’re done.
Play it back
Press Play (F7), then switch to the window you want to control. It starts after 3 seconds. Turn on Repeat continuously to loop it, and press Stop (F8) any time.
Windows says “Windows protected your PC”
LuvMacro isn’t code-signed yet, so Windows doesn’t recognise the publisher and may show this the first time you run it. Only run files from this page or LuvMacro’s official release page, and compare the checksum below before you choose More info, then Run anyway. Don’t turn off Windows Security or your antivirus.
Check your download
Open PowerShell in the folder that holds the file and run:
Get-FileHash .\LuvMacro-1.1.1-Windows-Setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256Compare the result with the line for that file in SHA256SUMS.txt. If they don’t match, don’t run the file.
