FAQ

What is LuvMacro?

A small Windows app that records your keyboard and mouse actions, saves them as .luvmacro files and plays them back, once or on repeat. Luvrr created it and Rowen is the lead developer.

Is LuvMacro free?

Yes. LuvMacro is free to download and use, and it works offline.

Which systems does it run on?

Windows 10 and 11. It has been tested on Windows 11; Windows 10 hasn’t been tested yet. There’s no Mac download: a Mac version exists but hasn’t been tested on a real Mac.

Does it work in Roblox or Attack on Titan Revolution?

It hasn’t been tested in either yet. Whether a game accepts simulated input is up to the game, and many games control the camera with a locked cursor that LuvMacro doesn’t reproduce. Record a short macro and test it before you rely on it.

How do I update?

If you installed with the Setup file, LuvMacro checks for updates about once a day and offers Update Now, or you can use Settings > Check for updates. Portable copies are only told that a new version exists: download the new zip from this page.

Why isn’t my macro working?

Keep the window you want to control in front: playback stops if you switch to another window. Check that the Stop shortcut works and that the window is the same size as when you recorded. Programs running as administrator may ignore LuvMacro. Look up the error code under Help if you saw one.

Why does Windows warn me about the download?

LuvMacro isn’t code-signed yet, so Windows doesn’t recognise the publisher. Check the file against its checksum (see Download), and only run files from this page or the official release page.

Are my recordings uploaded anywhere?

No. Recordings are stored on your computer. The only thing LuvMacro asks the internet for is whether a newer version exists, and you can switch that off in Settings.

Where do I report a bug?

In the Discord server. Say what you did, what you expected and what happened, which version you have (it’s shown at the bottom of the app) and the error code if there was one.
