Save and open recordings

Save a recording

After you stop recording, press Save…, choose a folder and filename, and keep the .luvmacro extension. Recordings are stored locally and are never uploaded by LuvMacro.

Open a recording

Press Open… and choose your file. Older .luvrrmacro recordings also open. Opening a file never starts playback; press Play when you are ready.

If the file does not open

Renaming another program's file does not convert it into a LuvMacro recording. TinyTask .rec files, videos, images and archives are not supported macro formats. Extract a zip first if it contains the actual recording.

A file can also be empty, incomplete, damaged or from an unsupported version. Keep the original and ask its sender for a fresh copy. The error dialog offers Choose Another File, Copy Error Report and Get Help. Search the exact code in Error codes.
